The American Society for Microbiology will
hold
its 108th General
Meeting in Boston,
Massachusetts
from
Sunday, June 1 to
Thursday,
June 5, 2008.
Plan to
attend all
five
days
of a spectacular
scientific
program
to be held
in the Boston
Convention and
Exhibition Center.
Consider also staying
through the weekend to
explore Boston, the
seat of American History and
one of
America's
best dinng and shopping
experiences.
Premeeting workshops precede the meeting
and
will be held both
Saturday and Sunday,
May 31 and June 1.
The scientific program will feature nearly 300
individual colloquia,
symposia, roundtable
discussions, award lectures, & poster sessions.
The
27 division
chairs &
the General Meeting
Program Committee have
devoted
their
energies
to
creating a well-rounded program.
Each year students are offered an
opportunity
to
compete for travel
awards. Details may be
found
under
the Call for Abstracts menu.
This year's schedule will begin on
Sunday,
June 1, 2008, at
5:00 p.m.
with the
presentation
of
scientific
topics of
general
interest
to the
society. It will
be followed by
the
ASM
Lecture
at
6:00 p.m.
