Poster Presenter Guidelines

Poster Size

The Poster Boards used at asm2015 have a maximum usable surface that is 40 inches (1.0 meters) tall by 88 inches (2.2 meters) wide. Posters can be any size up to this maximum.

During the abstract submission process the submitter must agree to place his/her poster on the assigned day and assigned poster board for the entire time allotted for viewing, and to remove it at the time specified.

If an abstract is accepted for poster presentation, information concerning the date, time and board number will be sent to the presenting author. Please note that the size of the meeting and the number of presentations do not allow poster presenters to make special requests for date or time of the presentation.

The General Meeting Program Committee has ruled that each presenter may present only one abstract at asm2015. An individual should never be listed as the presenting author on more than one abstract.

Poster Networking Cards

Poster Hall Hours

Posters will be displayed in the Poster Hall in the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Exhibit Hall E during the following times:

Sunday, May 31 | 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday, June 1 | 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 2 | 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Posters must remain on display for the full day scheduled. As a presenter, you must be in attendance to answer questions about your abstract during your scheduled session presentation date and time.


Poster Set-Up

Whether you are scheduled to present in the morning or in the afternoon, posters should be mounted on the assigned poster board between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled day of your presentation. Posters remain on the boards for the full day assigned.

Please bring your notification letter to gain entrance to the Poster Hall, Exhibit Hall E, to mount or dismantle your poster (when the hall is closed to general attendees).

Set Up Time: Between 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. on the day that you present

Thumb Tacks/Push Pins: Will be available for all Poster Presenters inside of the Poster Hall, Exhibit Hall E

ONE PERSON: May accompany you to mount your poster


Poster Storage

Complimentary poster storage is available for posters and poster containers only that will be located in the front of the Poster Hall, Exhibit Hall E. Please be sure that your poster and/or poster container is clearly marked with your name for you may leave it in storage at your own risk.

Poster Removal

Posters must be dismantled on the day of your presentation between the following hours:

Sunday, May 31 | 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Monday, June 1 | 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 2 | 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Posters remaining on the boards after this time will be discarded.
