- January 7-10, 2008: Abstract Submission closes. Actual deadline coinsides with the category the abstract is submitted under. Full details are provided in the Call For Abstracts.
- January 17, 2008: Student Travel Grant Letters of Nomination due to ASM
- February 20, 2008: Abstract presenters of record will be notified of abstract status
- March 17, 2008: Student Travel Grant Awardees will be notified
